Covid-19 Response

We are excited to be returning to a more "normal" practice of Mass. In order to allow all to feel safe and welcomed, as of June 7th, we now have masked and unmasked sections of the church (signs at the door indicate the sections).

We ask the everyone wear masks when

  • Entering or exiting the church
  • Coming up to communion
  • Anytime you are not at your seat

Although we are no longer requiring sign up for Mass, sign ups are still available for the crying rooms at the back of the church.  We ask that you respectfully allow these spaces to be used by those with children who are not yet able to be vaccinated, and for those with medical conditions that prevent them from being vaccinated or put them at higher risk despite vaccination.

Lifting the Dispensation from the Sunday Obligation

In a letter dated June 8th, Cardinal Sean declared that the dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass, which was put in place at the beginning of the pandemic, will be lifted beginning the weekend of June 19/20. In the letter, he sites the importance of the Eucharistic Liturgy in the lives of all Catholics. The full text of his letter can be read by clicking here

It is important to remember that there are instances where the obligation does not apply. He specifically mentions those who are ill (please do not come if you are sick!), those who have been exposed to COVID or other communicable illness, those who are confined to their homes, hospitals or other facilities due to illness, infirmity, frailty or age; and those who are not yet able to be vaccinated, due to age or health consideration. For those unable to attend in-person for any of the above reasons, we will continue to livestream the 9:45 Sunday Mass, or the schedule for Catholic TV is below.
