Community Outreach
We strive to joyfully serve our local and global community through ongoing and seasonal community outreach. If you are looking for other Parish Ministries, please check out our Ministries page!
Our current activities include:
Parent Happy Hour
The Parent Happy Hour group provides the opportunity to socialize and support fellow parents as well as participating in both parent and family service opportunities in the local community. All parents welcome! Meeting dates, guest speakers and service projects are in the bulletin and parish emails. If you are interested in joining this group, please contact via email or call the Parish Office 781-444-3434.
Food Collection
Donated items are brought to the Needham Food Pantry. The Needham Food Pantry provides much needed assistance to those in our community who struggle to feed themselves and their families. Please leave any items you would like donated at the entrance to the church. If you would like to be involved in bringing the food to the Needham Food Pantry, please contact Kathy Whitney at 781-444-3434. (Please note: The Food Pantry is not currently accepting food donations. Please do not leave donations at the church. Ways in which you can assist the Food Pantry can be found by clicking here.)

Religious Education Service Projects
Our students participate in an annual service project. The scope and recipients are student driven and vary by year, but some past projects have included crocheting scarves for the homeless, making blankets for the Animal Shelter, collecting food for the Needham food pantry, making bracelets for care packages for soldiers, collecting clothing for Cradles2Crayons, collecting money to build wells in Uganda, collecting sports equipment and books to send to Uganda, making rosaries for Build the Faith etc.
Special Projects
Special projects include our annual Giving Tree, and Lenten alms giving. See our bulletin during the Advent and Lenten seasons for more information about our efforts, and those we support! In past years we have collected warm items to be donated to Catholic Charities, funds for the Daughters of St. Paul, funds for St. Francis House, funds for CRS, funds to build wells in Uganda and supported the Needham Food Pantry.
