As a parish community, our dream is to awaken in all the possibility to know Jesus Christ and to experience the love of God. Acknowledging that every person has a desire to be welcomed, valued, and needed, the vision of the Welcoming Commission is that all who enter our parish will see and feel the peace and love of Christ and experience being a valued member of our parish family.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming parishioners as they come to Mass and parish activities
• Welcoming newly registered parishioners into the parish and delivering a welcome packet to their home
• Serving as a resource for new parishioners
• Encouraging new parishioners to come to activities and advising them of suitable volunteer opportunities
• Serving Coffee and cookies after all Masses throughout Lent

Commission members:

• Be friendly and outgoing
• Be familiar with the activities and events taking place within the parish
• Attend Community Sundays and other parish activities to introduce new parishioners to the parish
• Be willing to serve a one year term
