Communication Ministry

It is important, if we are to remain a dynamic community of the people of God, that we have effective communication with all our parishioners. The mission of the Communication Ministry is to gather and coordinate parish information and insure the clear and timely communication of all programs, events, and activities using all available resources.

Responsibilities include:

  • The timely collection and dissemination of parish information using a variety of media
  • Maintaining and continually updating the parish website
  • Writing press releases
  • Update the Parish Information Booklet annually
  • Assist event/activity coordinators to effectively publicize events

Ministry members:

  • Be able to work independently and follow through on tasks at hand in a timely manner
  • Be familiar with the procedures and deadline information for the bulletin, town papers,cable T.V. etc.
  • If interested in the technological aspects of communication:
    • have expertise in web design and maintenance
    • be willing to take technical training, as needed
  • Be willing to serve for 2 years with renewal in consult with the Pastor
