Building & Renovation Project

Now that the discussions between St. Bartholomew Parish, St. Sebastian School and the Archdiocese have been concluded in a satisfactory manner, both the Parish Pastoral Council and the Finance Committee are confident about the future status of the Parish in our present location.  We are in the process of realistically examining how to best serve our parish needs for the short and longer term future. This is a process of pastoral planning.

Initial Findings of our self-examination:

  • Over the last several years our parish community has been growing and as such putting a strain on our current resources especially space.
  • The lack of meeting space and other shortcomings of our buildings are real constraints on our ability to achieve our Parish mission of “developing our faith community and helping each other live in Christ.” A parish center is needed!

Until we have a finalized design plan, we will not know the full cost of the project, however, the capital reserved over the last several years along with the payment from St. Sebastian’s will provide a significant head start.

Please take a moment to view the UPDATED power point presentation which identifies some of the issues with our buildings.
