A parish is more than a building,
it is a community of believers
who come together to grow
in spiritual maturity through
shared worship, service, prayer, & social time.
It is through God that we grow in faith, and to nurture us, He sends people to help us and who need our help. Our community is made up of people who are a strength and a blessing to each other.
When we help others, we find that we are always both giver and reciever of blessings. When we recognize our blessings and pour out our time & gifts back to God, God is made visible to others through our life. Some of the ways that our parish has made “Thy Kingdom come!”
Visiting the sick, homebound, and the grieving, as well as new parishioners
Organizing and sharing in celebration at our Parish Picnic, Breakfast with Santa, Family Skating Party, St. Patrick’s Day Pizza Party, Palm Path, and Monthly Community Sundays
Sharing prayer and faith at Bible Study, Prayer Group, in small groups through the Arise Together in Christ program, in the RCIA process to be welcomed into the Catholic Church, and special liturgies and prayer services through the liturgical year
Baking for those in need of comfort and company with the Circle of Comfort
Coordinating aid and relief for the Haiti Project
Sharing expertise in photography, web design, software & network upgrades, legal and financial consultation, building and grounds planning, as members of the Parish Pastoral Council, and Communication Committee
Decorating the Church inside and out to draw us into the liturgical seasons through all our senses
Serving at Mass as Lectors, Choir, Cantors, Musicians, Eucharistic Ministers, and Altar Servers
Enriching the faith of our growing Catholics as catechists and aides at Religious Education classes for children and Children’s Liturgy
Coordinating, coaching, assisting and playing in our 1st and 2nd grade soccer program and our CYO Basketball program (5th – 12th grade) providing positive experiences of living their faith beyond the church and offering a witness to the community.

Sewing hats for the homeless, pillows for breast cancer patients, bags to hold received food for victims of the earthquake in Haiti, and other charitable sewing projects with the “Sew What?” sewing group
