Religious Education

Our religious education program is aimed at not only teaching our youth the content of their faith, but also helping them to grow in their relationship with God. We do this through a carefully chosen curriculum supplemented with guest speakers and activities, and supported by a very generous staff of volunteer catechist.

You, the parent, however, are your child’s first and primary teacher. It is through your example that children learn what it is to be a Catholic. Our program is designed to supplement what you already do to form your children in the faith. Through prayer, activities and discussion, we offer experiences and opportunities for children and teens to share their faith among their peers, but its up to you to take that home.  We want to support you in whatever ways we can, so in addition to our youth classes, we provide parent support through adult education classes as well as plenty resources to assist you in sharing your faith with your children; from prayers and books to help reflect on day to day living your faith to ways of helping your children navigate some important moments in the life of a family including resources for children who are grieving or going through changes in family life available from the Religious Education Office.  If we can ever be of assistance, please contact us.
