From Your Pastor
Reflection on the 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time: In today’s Gospel Jesus shows us His remarkable teaching skills. The object of our love colors who we are every day. Jesus shows us that Christian love knows no boundaries. It does not distinguish between rich and poor, young or old, weak or powerful . The story of the Good Samaritan is a powerful reminder for all of us that choosing compassion is a way of life. The Good Samaritan had a strong sense of solidarity with all of God’s creatures and a strong sense of conscience. He gives his time and energy to help others. Jesus is the Good Samaritan; and He invites us to follow in His ways.
